We had such a fun weekend!  We went to Northern Kentucky to surprise my best friend from college, Jennifer.  We love visiting her and her husband, Nick, because it always feels like a vacation!  They spoil our girls and Ella loves going to their house and playing with their dog Lincoln.  Jen and I have been friends for almost 10 years!  I was thinking about that this weekend while we were visiting and how blessed I am for her friendship.  There is a quote that says "A true friend knows everything about you and loves you anyway." Jen is definitely that friend.  She probably knows more about me than anyone, besides my husband.  I always joke that I enjoy being around Jen because she makes me feel good about myself because she laughs at my jokes....which are never funny.  But she gets me!  I have really been thankful for the time we have had in Louisville and being able to be so close to her again!  We never take many pictures because we are always caught up in hanging out!  But, I managed to snap a few of them with the girls.

Today

Well, I abandoned ship on my old blog.  I decided I had neglected it long enough and I wanted to begin fresh and new.  I get so inspired by everyone's blogs and then go to write and feel intimidated. But, if nothing else, this can be a place to share life's comings and goings.  The joys of our busy family.  I have made a resolution to post at least once a month!  We shall see how this goes!!
